Change is a constant at Disney World, and sometimes, it means bidding farewell to cherished experiences.

**Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser**, a short-lived sensation at Disney World since its debut in March 2022, has been a dream destination for Star Wars enthusiasts. However, Disney's announcement in May 2023 brought the news that the Starcruiser would conclude its journey in September. The time has now arrived.

Disney World is bidding adieu to the **Halcyon** *this week*, specifically from September 28th to 30th, marking the last voyage aboard the Starcruiser.

While bookings for these final dates are fully occupied, opinions among our Star Wars-loving readers remain divided. Some express contentment with the closure, citing the high cost and the restrictions. At approximately $1,200 per night, per guest, visitors could hardly leave the Starcruiser except for special excursions in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Conversely, others are eager to discover what will occupy the hotel's space next. They also ponder whether Disney will introduce a more accessible version of this concept in the future.
